Florida sun is harder on a countertop than your kitchen ever will be
An outdoor counter takes direct sun, afternoon rain and a grill throwing heat at it, all year. That narrows the material list. Granite and porcelain handle it. Some engineered surfaces do not, because the resin that holds them together can yellow and warp under UV.
We will tell you which of the colors you liked will survive out there and which one only looks good for two summers. That conversation happens at the estimate, before you fall in love with the wrong slab.
The one thing we need from you: the frame has to be built and standing before we template. We measure off the real structure, not a plan.

Does the frame have to be finished before you come out?
The frame has to be built and standing. We template off the real structure. If the block or the metal stud frame is still going up, we will come back.
Which material holds up outside?
Granite and porcelain are the safe answers in Florida. Both handle UV and heat without discoloring. Some engineered quartz is not rated for direct sun, and the resin can yellow or move over time, so we steer you away from those for an uncovered patio.
Can you do a backsplash panel behind the grill?
Yes, and outdoors it earns its keep. A single stone panel behind the grill run wipes clean and does not hold grease in grout lines.
Do you hook up the grill or the gas line?
No. We set the stone. Gas, electrical and plumbing connections are handled by your licensed trades.

We install within roughly 60 miles of the Kissimmee shop. If your home sits past that line, call us and we will tell you straight whether the trip makes sense for your job.
