We handle all of it in house. The slab you stand in front of in Kissimmee is the slab that gets cut, and the crew that walks into your house is our crew, not a subcontractor we called that morning.
Before we template, the cabinets need to be set and screwed to the wall. After that, plan on 5 to 10 days. Install day is dusty, so clear out the lower cabinets and keep kids and pets in another room.

Do the cabinets have to be finished before you template?
They have to be set and screwed to the wall. We measure off the real cabinets, not a drawing, because a quarter inch of movement after templating turns into a gap you will look at every day.
Can you cut for a sink I bought myself?
Yes. Have the sink on site when we template so we can cut the opening to that exact bowl. If you are still shopping, tell us the model and we will work from the spec sheet.
How many seams will my kitchen have?
Most kitchens need at least one. Slabs come in a fixed size, so a long run or an L shape has to be joined somewhere. We put the seam where it reads the least, match the color and fill it with a food safe epoxy that cures in about an hour.
Can you do the backsplash in the same stone?
Yes, and it looks better than tile in most modern kitchens. One catch: we do not add a stone backsplash to a countertop that is already installed, because the new piece will not match the old lot. See full stone backsplash for how we handle it.
Will you hook the sink and the gas back up?
No. We install countertops only and we are not licensed for plumbing, gas or electrical. Have your plumber lined up for the day after install.
